Course description: During the course students will work in groups studying
principles of concept design with the help of background material. Students can also
work on their own artistic or media- or cultural production projects. After the course
students will have an understanding of the different practices of concept design in
design or artistic productions. Students are able to carry on independently concept
design in their own productions. Students are able to identify their own role in the
process.The course is also one module in larger course for producing Social Media Application run by dr. Harri Ketamo form SAMK. First three lecture in the course will focus on ucer centred design.
Teaching and working methods: Lectures, tasks in groups, discussions, demonstrations by students.
Assessment criteria: presence at the lectures min 80%, active participation and a
concept design plan drafted and presented with the help of criteria given at the course.
Assessment: 0-5

Tälle saitille on kutsuttu kurssin osallistujat ja opettajat, ja kaikilla on oikeus editoida tekstejä, lisätä ja poistaa, myös uusia tiedostoja ja sivuja. Navigaattorista löytyy linkit sivuille, joissa voitte ryhtyä esittelemään, pohtimaan ja työstämään ensimmäisellä kerralla esillä olleita ideoita.

Seuraavalla kerralla 18.11. on kurssimme viimeinen kokoontuminen. Koko aika 14-17 käytetään opiskelijoiden konseptien esittelyyn ja arviointiin. Varautukaa esittelemään lyhyesti oman työryhmänne valmistelema konsepti - mikä se on, kenelle, mitkä on ideanne kantavat arvot - mitä varten se on toteutettava, millä keinoin, ennen kaikkea mihin tarkoitukseen. Jokaisesta konseptista olisi hyvä ola jonkinlainen visuaalinen/kirjallinen dokumentaatio esitettäväksi muille. Voitte vielä käyttää työskenetelyynne tätä viki-alustaa.
